So, this darling girl opened a shop in the UK. She fell in love with my umbrellas, and wanted to know where she could get the umbrella frames for her shop. So I told her I would ship some to her. They made the trek across the big pond where she was very excited to receive them. We talked about the best way for her to conduct the classes. We talked about all kinds of things. We were kindred spirits! It was such fun to have a friend all the way over on the other side of the world.
She seems very passionate. I love that women everywhere are united by a love for all things beautiful, especially in the form of textiles. As makers and quilters, we know how much fun it is to share our love. We join groups and guilds, we plan opportunities to sew together.
I asked this amazing young lady to send me pictures of her umbrella when it was done, and to send me pictures from her classes. She did! I was so excited to see her umbrella. She did such a great job!
