Christal Sakrison is one of my best friends. She is in our little knitting group. She has been knitting since she was a child. I think,personally, that she has been knitting since she was in the womb. However, her mother has never reported this to be true. She helps all of us each time we are together. She wears everything she makes, and it never fails to inspire, amaze and surprise. Can you tell I’m in awe? One year she made each of us a pair of mittens that were done in Fairisle, lined, and very intricate. I keep these in a special place so that I never lose one!
So, we call her “The Queen”. She can knit intricate shawls and lace patterns. Here’s what she just finished. Oh, and besides all this she’s a doctor. Yes, an MD. She has it all.
