I actually have tendonitis in my hands. I thought it was arthritis but my husband said it was a tendonitis from all the sewing that I have been doing. Right before Quilt Expo it is crunch time. I have been working on things all year, and now it’s about a week and a half away.
I love quilt expo. I am actually teaching this year. It will be about my book “Quilts for Scrap Lovers: 16 Projects Start with Simple Squares”.
This year, I have a new line of patterns. They are state patterns that are paper pieced. They have been so much fun. I can’t just create the pattern and then sell it, I have to trial it. If there is a mistake or something that can be done better, you can’t know that without sewing it first.
Anyway, I will make the debut of this pattern at Quilt Expo in Madison. All of the states that are available for purchase will fit in the spots where Wisconsin is. They are all 10 1/2″ unfinished. So, they will all fit where the Wisconsin blocks fit.
I don’t have all of them done yet, but I will soon. There are a number of them available.
There are so many possibilities of how these could be done. I would love to have a sew-a-long when they are all finished. I probably will.
