I have been trying to pound out these blocks. I have made a whole bunch of them, but only have them sketched and the instructions done. I have to sew each one before I publish it and try and sell it. The reason for that is I want to make sure that it is free of mistakes or glitches. So, today I finished the State of Oklahoma. There is no rhyme or reason for which one I make when. Obviously I made Wisconsin first. Some of them are more difficult than others.
There are so many great tutorials on line about how to do paper piecing. There are no shortages of these instructional videos. So, I don’t need to re invent the wheel. I include directions assuming that the maker already knows how to paper piece or will go online and learn.
I have also taught classes at the shop, but there really is no need unless someone comes in and specifically asks to learn to do this.
So with no further ado, here is the State of Oklahoma. I should mention that you can purchase these state blocks by clicking “shop” on this website. They are only $5 a piece.
