It’s a proud day for a quilting mom. My daughter decided to make a quilt for her in-laws for their 40th anniversary. So, we picked out a bunch of fabric at the shop and she went about her business making them a quilt. The pattern that she used was also from the shop, by “Night Owl Quilting”. And, it didn’t look like much on the front of the pattern, but we knew it would be beginner friendly. Here it is.
It sure is amazing how you can look at a pattern and not have it look like much until you make it your own. Some of the most boring looking patterns, I have found, will look absolutely spectacular when they are done up right. This pattern was like that. And, we both agreed that the colors were not ones that we would have chosen, but her mother in law will love them. We were so pleasantly surprised. So, here it is!
