This is a great opportunity to win a $50 gift card to the Bungalow. Come in and purchase your light shade kit and cord kit. The creativity is unlimited when you make one of these shades. Decorate it however you want. The uses for these are great. You can hang it over a favorite chair, your bed or sewing machine. Because they plug into the wall, you don’t need an electrician to hang these. Simply put a hook into the ceiling and swag it. We will judge the shades on Creativity, originality, and use of embellishments.
Here are the contest specifics:
1. Contest schedule is as follows: Pick up lampshade between September 21 and October 15th.. Make lampshade from October 15th through November 23rd. Judging will take place over Thanksgiving holiday and winner will be announced November 28th 2016. Lampshade can be brought in any time after it is finished to hang for display at the Bungalow.
2. Must be made by the individual entering.
3. Fabric does not need to be purchased from the Bungalow nor do the embellishments.
4. Lampshades must be labeled with name, address and phone number.
5. Finished lampshades must be picked up by December 1st, and will not be shipped to the maker after the contest is over.
6. Lampshades will not be shipped out to anyone for the contest, but can be shipped in to the Bungalow when completed. Bungalow is not responsible for damage that may occur during shipping.
