I don’t know about you but I love to make things for new moms. I have developed a pattern for a diaper dock that doesn’t require a ton of product. But that I mean that there’s not a ton of different stabilizers and interfacings involved. One thing I have noticed is that when I have those types of patterns in the shop, customers look at them and go “yeah, well, not doing that”. It’s too many steps and too much work. So I have come up with a diaper dock that won’t cost a lot in terms of money or time.
Here goes.
What you need:
- sewing machine with walking foot
- 3/4 yard PUL vinyl
- 3/4 yard fabric print
- 1/2 yard fabric print for binding
- thread to match
- 3/4 yard quilt batting or batting scrap 27” x 27”
- Pattern for Diaper Dock which can be found by clicking “shop” on this website. In the search bar to the left, you can put in Diaper Dock, or simply click https://www.etsy.com/listing/1027062078/diaper-dock-changing-pad?ref=shop_home_active_1
All of the instructions are included with this pattern. It’s so easy to do, and it’s the perfect size. Any new mom would love this.
