Knitting Boot Camp – This class is designed for those who are new to knitting. Veteran knitter Laurie Muench will begin this class by introducing you to knitting equipment, yarn types, and knitting jargon. Open Knit
Starting January 2015 we will be offering Open Knitting every Sunday from 12-3pm along with our usual first Thursday of the month. The next Thursday session is New Years Day so we will be knitting from Noon to 4pm to accommodate our adjusted hours for the holiday. Sit and have some camaraderie with fellow knitters. Dr. Sharon Kipetz and her Umbrella
We were graced by the presence of Dr. Sharon Kipetz, Dean of Students from UW Oshkosh. She made an umbrella twice! This is her second one, and she plans on doing still more. She is doing them for Christmas gifts. She is an avid knitter, but doesn’t sew very often. Can you believe it? That’s just how easy it is to do these. And, fun too! A gift like this
New Umbrella
Here’s a new umbrella that I made. It would be great for someone who is a traveler. It is made of a retro print with trains, cars, planes, and campers on it. Tons of fun.
