Here’s the second lamp shade that I have made using the new kits. The kits are ready to sell. I will be taking them to Quilt Con out in Pasadena. I think that they are a wonderful way to use your favorite fabrics. What could be better than letting the light shine through your favorite print!
I think that they would work up well using collegiate fabrics. They would be great in a room where you watch television and do hand sewing or knitting under them. They would be great in a dorm room or apartment, or over your side of the bed.
No electrician needed. All you need is a couple of hooks in the ceiling so that the cord drapes. Then plug it in to the wall. What a great idea.
Here’s the latest one. I used fabric by Zen Chic for Moda Fabrics. It’s fun because it has little retro TV shapes on it.
