Amanda Shaffer’s Skirt

Amanda Shaffer is not from here. She was a Ripon College student and she was from Indiana. She popped in to the Bungalow because she loves fiber art. I saw her and instantly recognized that she had a sense of style. Since her first visit, she has made a few skirts using Bungalow fabrics. This skirt that she has on is from the Natural History Collection by Lizzy House for Andover Fabrics. Wow. I love how great this fabric worked up into a skirt. I get so excited when I see young women making clothing for themselves again. Way to go Amanda.

Judy has been sewing for most of her life, starting at about age 9. She is the owner of Bungalow Quilting and Yarn, and the author of “Quilts for Scrap Lovers: 16 Projects Start with Simple Squares”.
