Something new is starting. I have a great idea. Let’s all make the same quilt, using lots of different fabric, and have a party at the end! Won’t this be fun! It’s easy enough for a confident beginner, and all of the fabric will be cut for you. No, not just the amounts but the actual pieces. How can you resist that? You can’t. It’s simple. Just choose a grouping of 3 fabrics from the choices, and we’ll cut the kit for you. No cutting, you can just sit right down and start sewing. It’ll include instructions as well. The quilt comes out to be 60” x 60” so it’s the perfect lap size, or gifting size.
There’re a couple of points that I want to make about this quilt, and about square quilts in general. I like square quilts because I don’t want to be hemmed in to making the fabric go only one way or one direction. Obviously if you’re making a garment with a 1 way print, or a bag or a hat, you have to be very cognizant of the direction. But with a square quilt, it’s nice to have the fabric go all directions so that it’s appreciated from any point of view.

We will cut the squares and triangles. Then you pick it up and start sewing. Directions for sewing will be included.
We will have a sew day on October 5th, 2024 for this, and then a party at a later date to show our finished work (and you can come even if you haven’t finished–partial projects can be shown too!) Of course, you can start sewing well before October 5th. And you can participate even if you don’t want to attend the sew day.
But, don’t wait to0 long to purchase, as some of the bolts of fabric are shorter than the others. You don’t want to have your favorite Pick 3 Kit sell out.
