I just wanted a break from all the packaging orders and sewing things that I was “supposed” to be sewing. It’s January. I just wanted to break loose and sew something totally frivolous. What could be more frivolous than little zippy heart pouches? I want to fill these with candy. They’re little. So, you can’t really put a lot of candy into these. But, it’s perfect. They are small enough to pop into the mail. I do think though, that you would have to send them as a parcel, so it will cost a couple of bucks.
The most wonderful thing about these is that you can’t send them in an email–right? I mean, we all love to be greeted by our friends. There’s just something about getting mail that makes people excited. I mean real mail, when it’s fun mail.
When you go to the mailbox, don’t you automatically sift through the mail to see if someone sent you something good? Yup. You do. I know it. I do that too! Can you imagine getting one of these in the mail filled with candy? You will make someone’s day. So, go over to tutorials on my page, and watch how easy it is to make these!
