Ever have a really fun grouping of fabric that you’ve put together from your stash? There you are rifling through your stash and you realize that certain fabrics go really well together.
This happens to me all the time. And then you go, “What pattern should I do”? Well, this has become one of my standbys. I love to work with large scale prints. There is so much more movement and interest. There are so many wonderful artists in the world creating fabric. Why would you settle for a small scale print with little personality?
I love to do large broken dishes blocks. The other standby is a Chevron with large triangles. I did this large broken dish pattern with the “Princess and the Pea” fabric as well. It lends itself to this type of project, and it’s playful looking.
I of course, haven’t gotten it put together yet, but I thought that the blocks were so cute.
