Into to Garment Sewing: The Staple Dress

In this class students will learn the basics of garment sewing as well as several techniques they can use in their future garments. Students will be able to choose between two different pattern variations to create a simple dress that is perfect for all seasons. This class covers reading patterns, how to cut fabric, seam finishing, and sewing with elastic. Space is limited, sign up today!

Students must bring their own sewing machine as well as be comfortable threading and sewing with it. This class will not cover threading, check out our Beginner Sewing for Adults to learn how to use your own sewing machine.

About Judy

Judy has been sewing for most of her life, starting at about age 9. She is the owner of Bungalow Quilting and Yarn, and the author of “Quilts for Scrap Lovers: 16 Projects Start with Simple Squares”. Her second book, "Rainbow Quilts for Scrap Lovers" is a best seller for C&T Publishing.
