We were graced by the presence of Dr. Sharon Kipetz, Dean of Students from UW Oshkosh. She made an umbrella twice! This is her second one, and she plans on doing still more. She is doing them for Christmas gifts. She is an avid knitter, but doesn’t sew very often. Can you believe it? That’s just how easy it is to do these. And, fun too! A gift like this will last a lifetime, and be such a surprise. You know, you can spend months making a quilt. The recipient is sure to love it, but when they get one of these umbrellas that only takes and afternoon to do, they are just over the moon! Especially when they are personalized.
